This week has been a very busy week! James is back to playgroup and full in the swing of it now. The other morning I reminded him he was going to playgroup, and he replied, “oooh! I’m excited!” They have been doing work on emotions and facial expressions there, and he’s so funny when he tells me he’s cross or frightened as he’s playing Duplo!
We’ve also been to the Centre for Life, a few playgrounds, and the library.
I’ve also been into work for a discussion about my hours when I return after maternity leave. Please your fingers crossed I get what I’ve applied for – it is the difference between spending £300 a month on childcare or £300 a week!
We reviewed the Out’n’About footmuff, though I think we’ve only had one very cold day, and all the rest have been mild. Not to worry, when that chill sets in, we are ready!
This week I also wrote a review of the gorgeous Gro Company and Anorak Grobag. The Rolling Hills design is so cute, and fits right into our nature-themed nursery.
And I finally wrote up our time playing in the Wilfred Owen Green park in Oswestry, which is a really fun outdoor playground.
I also drew the winner of the Optrex product bundle giveaway — was it you?!
Next week we’ll have a review of a product to help your children tie their shoes, another North Tyneside playground, and other exciting things! I’ve spent the weekend in George at ASDA jeans, so expect a post about those very soon!
