We have been sent two beautiful cuddly toys and we have two to giveaway to my readers! The BBC Earth range of soft toys from Posh Paws International is a collaboration with the BBC, and all of the soft toys depict land and sea animals featured in the BBC television documentaries including Blue Planet II and Planet Earth II.
We were sent the Lion, the Elephant, and the Three-Toed Pygmy Sloth, both featured on BBC Earth. Other creatures in the range include an octopus, a shark and a King Emporer Penguin.
The sloth has such a happy face and is so huggable. It is soft, furry, and about the same size as a 7lb baby (obviously with longer limbs!) though it doesn’t weigh as much!
The BBC Earth toys come in a cardboard box with a very special tag attached to them. If you scan the QR code on the tag you are taken to watch a little video about the creature on BBC Earth. My boys loved this element of the Posh Paws toys.
The cuddly soft toys are of such great quality. They really do stand out for the brilliant softness, cuddliness, and general awesome build for a soft toy. The tags say that you should regift it after you’ve grown out of these Posh Paws plushes, and I think they would stand the test of time.
The only downside I can find is that they are hand wash only, which, if you have a child who carries only one cuddly friend from birth until 5 or 6, you will know already that 1. you need two, and 2. the second will never be accepted as the washing schedule doesn’t make them smell or feel exactly the same. Having a favourite friend as a hand wash only kinda-toy would make that switch-a-roo task even more tricky.
The Planet Earth II tie-in is a really good conversation starter, and the episodes are suitable for children. It’s a good series to watch as a family, to raise environmental awareness from an early age.
I have one Lion and one Three-toed Pygmy Sloth to giveaway. One winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries via the KingSumo thingumabob.
