One of our favourite books, especially now that we have taken part in the Baby Steps to Literacy program, is Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?
So I was excited to find some printable activities with a Brown Bear theme. We tend to do puzzles in the wind down to bedtime, and these were perfect to tie in with the story.
We played with the strips of animal pictures to put them in the right order to tell the story. There are numbers down the side for older preschoolers, but we are at the matching pictures stage!
Speaking of which, James also enjoyed spending time matching the photos of animals with the cartoons of the characters from the book.
Really good fun and a great calm down before bed.
Sounds like a great book, i’ll have to check it out. The activities look fun too. Ray xx @ lukeosaurusandme.blogspot.co.uk #weekendbookclub

I hope you like it; we’ve found lots of those activities are adaptable and fun!
Awww looks like a great book and fab activities #weekendbookclub
We haven’t read this book, but I love the idea of activities to tie in with it, I’m a huge fan of that 🙂
thanks for joining in with #weekendbookclub x
It’s a great, simple book, but there are advantages to that, especially at bedtime.
It’s also a good conversation starter, because I can ask, “what do you see?” And James will tell me or quote from the book, as he likes 🙂
Definitely look it up!
